Birdseye View.

I've been doing a little bird watching in the morings while getting the boys ready for school and here are a few shoots that I wanted to share with you. The first is the Northern Cardinal. They look so pretty in the winter with a splash of red against all that white snow.

The second is a Tufted Titmouse. I was excited to see this little birdie because I didn't know that I had them in my yard.

I've also been putting out peanuts still in the shell and the Blue jays just love them. I hope to get a picture of them swiping them. The birds have become a joy for me. It's my way of slowing down and taking a little time for me.

  1. What a great way to unwind, I love to watch the Cardinals here.

    Have a Great Weekend.

  2. How to see a tit mouse and cardinal. I haven't seen them in years. My Dad was a bird man and could tell you all about them. Love of birds came from him.
thank you for the gentle reminder of My Dad.

  3. Hi, I'm trying to get to commenting on some blogs before the super bowl starts:)
How about the letter "M"? doing this sure makes you think. LOL

I love the pics of the cardinals, my mom loved them and every Christmas I try to find a cardinal ornament for the far I have two one I got at a porch sale for .25:)
    Have a wonderful Sunday!

  4. I do think the cardinals are beautiful in winter too! It's nice to take time and notice the birds and all nature around us. I need to pull out our binoculars and keep them by the bay windows! It's a great learning experience too to identify them! Thanks for reminding me! :

    Have a great week!
