Whatca Workin On Wednesday

I know I'm a little late but hey it's still counts because Wednesday isn't over yet.

I don't have alot to show but I did wok on this. What you ask is it? Keep reading and you'll find out.
First I painted it white but didn't like it. So I painted over it with tan
But I didn't like it either and decided to wipe the tan off and it looked like this

and I was pleased with it. Looks prim now. Still wondering what it is?
It's a cornhole scoreboard. I bet no one else thought to prim up their score board. Now if only I had tought to do that with the cornhole boards (which I didn't get a pic of) before we sent them off to my Grandmas. She wanted a set made for an upcoming family reunion. Oh well when Wayne makes the next set I am so priming them because they will be mine to keep.

And next we have this little ironing board Wayne made to sell at the shop. It's just like the one he made me for Valentine's day which I forgot to share with you.

It's 12 inches wide and 30 inches long and make s great litte table top iron. I love mine and use it all the time. The kitty's love it too.
Edited to show the back side because I forgot to add it last night.

  1. That's too funny that you primmed up the score board :) Jeremy just made the washer game that has the three holes and you use the BIG washers. He's had the washers here for years and finally made the game up out of scrap plywood that we had around here. Next he wants to do the cornhole game and I get to make the bean bags, of course. I don't think he'll let me prim up any of it....lol

Do the table top ironing boards have legs or do you use them as is? I so need to get a new one because mine was the crappy fake wood stuff and Af stepped on it, so now it's just about useless!

    Have a great day :)

  3. I had no idea what corn hole was until last year when the mom of one of my chmeo kids explained it to me. No one around here plays it!!

Great idea to make the tabletop ironing boards!!

All of the beeskeps I have or have seen are not rope. They are straw, or wicker or something else a basket would be woven with. I think some glas make them with rope when they can't find the real thing. I guess it is hard to find them in some areas. I have even seen some gals make them from concrete!! Pretty clever and I am sure they last longer too!!
