I made it. Can you believe it?

Tomorrow my grandma's side of the family is having a reunion which is held at her house. So of course we have to go. Each family is asked to bring an item for a chinese auction.Usually I sew a purse or a little doll but this year I wanted to make something different. I came up with this prim sign which is actually inspired by the cornhole score board I made a few days ago( few posts down).
It took a couple of hours to make with Wayne's help. He drilled the holes for the hooks and cut the wood but I painted it and I love it. My 16yr old gave it his seal of approval because he said it was "pretty sweet". Now I'm not so sure I wanna give it up. Guess I'll just have to make another one for myself. I may even make a couple to sell at the store.
Miss Ginger wanted say hello to my bloggin buddies and to see what I was doing. She's such a curious kitty.

  1. Your son is right, its sweet! You did a great job. Just don't do like I would do. Say your gonna make one for yourself and never get around to it. I've learned... make two! :)

  2. I love your sign! It would be hard for me to part with that too but.......you can always make another like you said! :)

I'm so glad you posted a pic of your kitty. She does look a lot like my O.C. Thanks for sharing her!

    Have a great day!
